Leading global hospitality brand, Hilton, received widespread recognition in the Travel + Leisure 2024 World’s Best Awards, one of the most prestigious awards in the travel industry, selected entirely by Travel + Leisure readers.

Nineteen properties representing six of Hilton’s industry-leading brands –  Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, LXR Hotels & Resorts, Conrad Hotels & Resorts, Hilton Hotels & Resorts and Curio Collection by Hilton – were recognized in the highly regarded annual list in 2024, across 16 separate award categories.  

From Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, 8 properties were recognized, including an award for the No. 9 spot in the coveted Favorite Hotels in the World category for Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi. Spanning three islands, Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi boasts surrounding views of sparkling waters and white sandy beaches, serving as a tropical playground for exploring nature’s beauty.

Additionally, all three top spots in the Favorite Hotels in Los Angeles category were awarded to properties in the Hilton Luxury Brands portfolio - with Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills at No. 1, Oceana Santa Monica, LXR Hotels & Resorts at No. 2, and Conrad Los Angeles at No. 3.

From Conrad Hotels & Resorts, Conrad Tokyo received the No. 2 Favorite Hotel in Tokyo award, and the No. 3 Favorite Hotel in Nashville was awarded to Conrad Nashville, a luxurious high-rise hotel in the heart of Music City.

Hilton’s flagship brand, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, earned recognition for providing guests with unparalleled hospitality in sought-after destinations such as Miami, Los Angeles and the South Pacific. Two Curio Collection by Hilton properties also made the list for delivering individually remarkable hotels in Texas and South Carolina, with Mills House Charleston, Curio Collection by Hilton awarded for the second consecutive year.

Over 186,000 Travel + Leisure readers completed the 2024 survey, and a total of more than 700,000 votes were cast across over 8,700 properties. Hotels were classified as either a resort hotel, city hotel, inn, or safari lodge based on their location and amenities, and they were specifically rated on rooms and facilities, location, service, food and value. The Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards will live in the August print issue of the magazine, and will remain on the publication’s website as a guide for readers making travel plans through the end of 2024 and beyond.
