The new system allows digital processing of visas for travelers to Cuba

Please be informed that, as of July 23rd, 2024, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba has implemented an eVisaCuba. This is an online system for the digital management of tourist visas for passengers traveling to Cuba.

To access this service, the passenger has the following options:

  • In person at the consulate, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 m.d.
  • Through the platform in the following link.

The issuance of this visa may take up to 72 business hours.

Note: Until December 31st, 2024, paper and electronic tourist cards will be accepted at international airports. For passengers who present themselves at the airport without an electronic card, a physical tourist card must be sold to them until this date.

Important considerations:

  • When applying for electronic tourist visas through the platform, the passenger must first make the payment to the Consulate and then attach the proof of payment, accurately filling in the requested data.
  • It is of utmost importance that, when applying for the visa, passengers enter their e-mail address correctly, as this will be how they will receive the electronic visa code. The electronic visa is for personal and non-transferable use.
  • It is valid for one year and a single entry.
  • Tourists may remain in Cuban territory for 90 days, extendible.
  • The visa is effective upon filling in the personal data on the D'VIAJEROS platform.
  • In case of irregular operations or flight changes, the same electronic visa originally managed can be used.
