The 504-room property introduces the Elite Club by RIU concept, offering personalized services and reserved areas, along with the brand’s 24-hour all-inclusive service, now available in Phuket for the first time

RIU Hotels & Resorts has marked a new international milestone with the launch of the Hotel Riu Palace Phuket, a five-star property that represents the company’s debut in Thailand.
Located on the north-west coast of Mai Khao, 16 kilometres from Phuket International Airport, the 504-room property introduces the Elite Club by RIU concept, offering personalized services and reserved areas, along with the brand’s 24-hour all-inclusive service, now available in Phuket for the first time.
Six dining venues are on offer, including the main restaurant Chantra, featuring live cooking stations and themed buffets, and the Thai restaurant Ruen Siam. Other dining options include the Italian restaurant Il Gusto, a steakhouse, the grill concept Pepe’s Food and the Elite Club restaurant.
Seven bars are also available, including the lobby bar Mai Khao, the Siang Sawan lounge bar, the Khon plaza, a sports bar, the Capuchino coffee and ice cream parlour, the Sabai pool bar with a swim-up bar and the Elite Club Lounge.
Room categories include junior suites and 49 rooms within the Elite Club by RIU category. Elite Club guests have access to a private reception with personalized check-in, a dedicated restaurant and pool, premium international branded drinks, an upgraded minibar, welcome amenities and aromatherapy service. Swim-up category rooms with a private terrace pool are also available to book within the category.
Guests can enjoy six swimming pools, including two for children and one reserved for Elite guests, as well as a wellness area featuring a gym, a steam bath and a Renova Spa offering treatments, massages and hairdressing services.
The resort also includes a meditation, prayer and offering area in front of the spa building, and a wooden palapa by the dining area used for massage services.
For young guests, entertainment includes the RiuLand kids’ club, a daily programme of activities and the RiuFit sports programme.
