Aer Lingus is reminding its 3 million AerClub members to check their account balances, as new data from the airline shows that members save an average of €60 per booking by using ‘Pay with Avios’ to book their flights. So far this year, AerClub members saved over €3 million using Avios to book flights with Aer Lingus. AerClub members can also use their Avios to save money on upgrades, hotels and other travel experiences. 

Avios is the reward currency of AerClub and can be collected when members fly with Aer Lingus and partner airlines, as well as when they shop with affiliated retailers including Deliveroo, Brown Thomas, ASOS, Booking.com, and more via the AerClub eStore on Aerlingus.com or through the AerClub Rewards app.

AerClub members can also collect Avios seamlessly by linking their credit or debit cards—including their Revolut and Aer Credit Card—to their AerClub account. • Pay with Avios: Reduce the cash price on any fare using Avios. Members saved an average of €60 per booking in 2024 by using Pay with Avios, with over €3 million saved so far this year. Members can redeem as little as 1,000 Avios for instant discounts on both short-haul and long-haul flights. Just log into your Aer Lingus account on the app or website to see your Avios balance. Your Pay with Avios discount options will then be visible on the payment page. Simple!
• Reward Flights: Use your Avios to book Reward Flights with Aer Lingus. A flight from Dublin to the bright lights of New York will set you back just 13,000 Avios (one-way, off peak), while a shopping trip to London can be yours for just 4,000 Avios. For those seeking a sunshine adventure, you can get to the idyllic beaches of Malta for 7,500 Avios or fly from Cork or Shannon to Malaga for 6,500 Avios. Just pay the taxes & fees and charges.
