It seems that anyone who has travelled to St. Kitts and Nevis knows of the legendary Sunshine, and his iconic Sunshine’s Beach Bar and Grill located Pinney’s Beach. The man himself is larger than life- ever present amongst his smiling patrons and local fans- handing out the infamous Killerbee rum punch to droves of people from early afternoon to late at night.

Its hard to say what is more iconic amongst travellers- the storied Sunshine himself, or his dangerously powerful rum punch. His humble beginnings years ago found him without money, with just a grill to his name. He started grilling lunch for some construction workers in St. Kitts to make a few dollars. They very much enjoyed his lunches, and the rest- as they say- is history. Today, Sunshine’s Bar and Grill draws visitors from all over Nevis as well as day trippers from St. Kitts who come over to go “Limin” with the man and his punch.

Be sure to warn your clients that one Killerbee is more than enough!  They certainly do creep up on you.
