Expanding travel options for UK passengers

Wizz Air, EMEA’s most environmentally sustainable airline is excited to announce the launch of two new routes connecting Poland with Budapest, Hungary. Starting on June 30, 2025, Wizz Air will begin operating flights from Gdansk to Budapest, offering three weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Just a day later, on July 1, 2025, Wizz Air will also introduce flights from Wroclaw to Budapest, operating twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
These new services are part of Wizz Air’s ongoing expansion in Poland, further strengthening the airline’s network and providing Polish travelers with even more opportunities to explore Budapest Tickets for these routes are available on wizzair.com or via the Wizz Air mobile app, starting from just PLN 89.

The launch of these two new routes will enhance Wizz Air’s network from Poland, offering more direct and affordable travel options to Budapest. This expansion reflects the airline’s commitment to sustainable, low fare travel across Europe. Wizz Air currently operates over 170 routes from Poland, connecting passengers to 28 countries. Since its first flight Wizz Air has carried over 115 million passengers to/from Polish airports and continues to grow, with five new Airbus A321neo aircraft arriving in 2025.
