Wizz Air
New flights connect passengers to a wide range of Northern, Eastern - and Western European destinations

Wizz Air, EMEA’s most environmentally sustainable airline*,  is further expanding its Italian network with the launch of new international routes from Venice, Milan Malpensa, Rome Fiumicino and Pescara. This expansion highlights Wizz Air's strategic focus on Italy, which is its largest market in terms of passengers carried, and its commitment to offering direct and convenient connections to Central-Eastern, Northern, and Western Europe.

To support the expansion in Venice and serve passengers in the Northeast of Italy, Wizz Air is adding a third Airbus A321neo aircraft to its base. This modern aircraft is known for its comfort, low noise, and reduced emissions**.

 

The new routes from Venice are:

  • Bordeaux: Three weekly flights on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday with the first flight on December 2. Fares starting from just €29.99.
  • Larnaca: Three weekly flights during the winter season (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) and two weekly flights during the summer season (Tuesday and Saturday), with the first flight on December 2. Fares starting from just €19.99.
  • Tallinn: Two weekly flights during the winter season (Wednesday and Sunday) and two weekly flights during the summer season (Thursday and Sunday), with the first flight on December 3. Fares starting from just €19.99.
  • Kutaisi: Two weekly flights on Tuesday and Saturday with the first flight on December 2. Fares starting from just €17.99.
  • London Luton: daily flight with the first flight on December 1. Fares starting from just €24.99.
  • Valencia: Four weekly flights on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday with the first flight on December 1. Fares starting from just €19.99.
  • Tel Aviv: Two weekly flights on Monday and Friday with the first flight on December 1. Fares starting from just €55.99.
    Milan Malpensa - Five new connections will be available:
  • Alicante: Four weekly flights on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, with the first flight on October 26. Fares starting from just €22.99.
  • Brasov: Three weekly flights on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, with the first flight on October 28. Fares starting from just €19.99.
  • Cluj-Napoca: Four weekly flights on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, with the first flight on March 29, 2026. Fares starting from just €19.99.
  • Glasgow: Three weekly flights on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with the first flight on October 27. Fares starting from just €29.99.
  • Seville: Five weekly flights on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday with the first flight on October 26. Fares starting from just €24.99.
    Rome Fiumicino - Three new routes will be launched:
  • Brasov: Three weekly flights on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, with the first flight on January 27, 2026. Fares starting from just €24.99.
  • Bordeaux: Three weekly flights on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, with the first flight on October 28. Fares starting from just €24.99.
  • Glasgow: Three weekly flights on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with the first flight on October 27. Fares starting from just €29.99.

 

Finally regarding Pescara, a new route to Iasi (Romania) will have two weekly flights on Tuesday and Saturday, with the first flight on December 9. Fares starting from just €19.99.

Tickets for these new routes will be available for purchase starting on August 14 on wizzair.com and through the official WIZZ app. This expansion is part of the 'Customer First Compass' initiative, a €14 billion investment plan over the next three years to improve the passenger experience, continuously expand the network, and offer innovative services.
