News / Ryanair unveils its 2026 summer schedule for Málaga
4 new routes, over 50 additional weekly flights, and an 8% increase in seating capacity

Ryanair announced its 2026 summer flight schedule for Málaga, featuring 91 routes, including four new connections to Katowice (Poland), Košice (Slovakia), Bratislava (Slovakia), and Pardubice (Czech Republic). Ryanair’s schedule in Málaga will also expand with increased capacity on existing popular destinations such as Bologna, Rome, Copenhagen, Liverpool, Tangier, and many more, adding over 50 additional flights and reaching a total of 589 flights per week this summer. Thus, the new routes and frequencies will result in an 8% increase in Ryanair’s capacity in Málaga, offering more options to residents and visitors with the lowest fares in Europe.
Ryanair will also expand its base in Málaga with two additional aircraft this summer, reaching a total of 20 B-737s based at Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport. This fleet represents an investment of $2 billion, generates more than 7,300 local jobs, and significantly boosts Malaga’s connectivity, thereby contributing to its position as a leading tourist destination.

While Ryanair continues to grow at Málaga Airport, the Spanish tourism sector finds itself at a crossroads in the face of Aena’s proposal to increase airport charges by 21% over five years. The country needs low-cost facilities and competitive prices to attract investment and airline growth. However, Aena offers only unnecessary luxury facilities and excessive fees that undermine the country’s competitiveness. Ryanair rejects these highly damaging policies, which only benefit Aena’s monopoly, and calls on the CNMC and the Ministry of Transport to reduce airport fees and protect connectivity, tourism, and employment in Spain.
Ryanair’s full summer 2026 schedule is now available for booking on Ryanair.com and the Ryanair app, with flights to and from Málaga starting at just €24.99 for travel through October, when booked by Wednesday, April 15, 2026*.
