ABTA
Fees increase to £850 and £950 respectively starting Saturday 20 July

Registration fees are currently priced at £695 for ABTA members and first ABTA Partner to register, and £795 for additional ABTA Partners and other delegates. From Saturday 20 July, these fees will rise to £850 and £950 respectively.

Taking place from 7-9 October in Costa Navarino, Greece, guest speakers and leading industry figures will tackle the theme, ‘Shaping our future’, during this year’s business sessions.

Taking on the role of Convention moderator for the first time is Sky News presenter and travel writer, Jonathan Samuels, who will draw on his 25 years of broadcasting experience to facilitate thought-provoking panel discussions and deliver critical insights to delegates.

One of the first industry speakers to be named is the CEO of easyJet, Johan Lundgren, who will be reflecting on his seven years at the helm of the airline and outlining its growth plans as he prepares to hand over the role to his successor next year.

Delegates will also be presented with new research to help them better understand the market forces shaping the industry and their customers’ behaviour. This includes a session from Deloitte which will examine the impact that today’s turbulent economic, social and technological forces is predicted to have on the markets, models and mechanics of consumer facing companies over the next decade.

A further session on how travel businesses can tap into the next generation of silver travellers will be delivered by Debbie Marshall, Managing Director at the Silver Marketing Association.

ABTA’s Travel Convention provides senior travel professionals with two days of thought-provoking business sessions, an array of networking opportunities, and the chance to explore the host destination through optional excursions.
