News / Make the most of your ABTA membership
A warm welcome to all new members and heartfelt thanks to those who have renewed their commitment to the association

This week marks the beginning of the new ABTA membership year. Thank you for renewing or, if you’ve joined ABTA for the first time, a very warm everyone.
Last week you would have received your new membership certificate for the year 2025-2026 and a reminder of the full range of benefits available to you. These include access to support, knowledge, and insights across many industry issues, from legal changes to policy, sustainability and many more. They also provide you with alerts about fast-moving developments, emerging crises, and FCDO travel advice.
ABTA provide knowledge in-person through the events programme, through e-learning, the Partnership scheme and free helplines. You also benefit from exclusive rates and discounts for other high-value services and the industry-leading events. A reminder also that the charity, LifeLine, also provides vital financial support to current and former employees of ABTA members.
And by being an ABTA member you're telling your customers that you’ve signed up to a Code of Conduct which sets standards in excellence, operations and fairness.
Customer recognition of the ABTA logo is at an all-time high with 88% of people saying they are more likely to book their holiday with an ABTA member than a non-member. In fact, 52% of consumers say they are willing to pay more for a holiday if it’s with an ABTA member than with a non-member.
So, using the ABTA logo is a great way to promote your membership and benefit from these positive consumer perceptions. You can download the logo in the marketing toolkit in the Member Zone.
To help you to promote your business as an ABTA member, they've also produced a social media pack where you'll find social posts and assets, including an email signature and poster artwork for you to display in your shop or premises.
For 75 years they’ve helped the members run successful travel businesses and provided travellers with advice, guidance and support, and ABTA will continue to do that over this new membership year, and in the years ahead. I look forward to working with you all.
