News / Grand Hyatt Cancun Beach Resort debuts as an elevated all-inclusive
Grand Hyatt Cancun Beach Resort gives you a fresh, high-end option to offer clients heading south this winter

There is a new name to add to your Cancun shortlist this winter. Grand Hyatt Cancun Beach Resort launches its all-inclusive experience in December 2026, bringing 500 rooms and suites, 14 food and beverage outlets and a full sanctuary spa to the beachfront of Puerto Cancun, one of the city's most exclusive residential communities.
The resort pairs the polish of the Grand Hyatt brand with a design inspired by Mayan heritage, lush Caribbean greenery and white-sand beaches. The idea behind it is that true luxury is about personal transformation, so wellness and discovery are woven through the stay. For Canadian clients looking to trade snowbanks for turquoise water, it offers something a little different from the familiar Hotel Zone strip: a quieter, upscale address that is still minutes from shopping, golf and the airport.
Location: Puerto Cancun
The resort sits at Boulevard Kukulcan Km 1.5, at the northern gateway to the Hotel Zone, with views over both the Caribbean Sea and Marina Puerto Cancun. It is a strong fit for clients who want a beachfront stay without the busier stretches of the Hotel Zone.
- Cancun International Airport: about 16 km (10 miles), roughly 25 minutes by car. The resort does not operate its own airport shuttle, so pre-book private transfers for your clients.
- Marina Puerto Cancun shopping centre: a 5-minute walk.
- Puerto Cancun Golf Course: an 18-hole, par-72 course designed by Tom Weiskopf, 5 minutes by car.
- Cancun Convention Centre: about 15 minutes away.
- Nearby excursions: Isla Mujeres, the MUSA underwater museum and the Interactive Aquarium are all within roughly 10 km.

Rooms and Suites
All 500 rooms and suites have a furnished private balcony with views of either the ocean or the marina. Standard rooms measure 441 sq. ft., and suites go up to 1,614 sq. ft. The inventory breaks down as 306 king rooms and 194 two-queen rooms, which makes the resort easy to sell to families and friends travelling together.
Every stay includes a premium minibar restocked daily with beer, soft drinks, juice, water and gourmet snacks, plus 24-hour in-room dining.

Categories worth knowing:
- Oceanfront rooms: the largest share of inventory, including 220 high-floor oceanfront rooms in king and two-queen configurations.
- Marina View rooms: a value-minded entry point, with high-floor options available.
- Sanctuary rooms (29): each with a private plunge pool, in king or two-queen layouts, plus a one-bedroom Sanctuary Suite.
- Grand Club rooms (77): access to the 19th-floor Grand Club Lounge with panoramic views, VIP concierge service, premium spirits and gourmet bites throughout the day.
- Suites (47): marina-view and oceanfront king suites, topped by the Oceanfront Presidential Suite.
- Accessible rooms: available across several categories, including roll-in showers and an oceanfront suite with an accessible tub.
Note that rollaway beds are not available, so book larger families into two-queen rooms, suites or connecting rooms.
Dining and Bars
Food is a headline feature here. Fourteen outlets serve unlimited gourmet dining and premium beverages, with a line-up that reads more like a city dining scene than a resort buffet:
- Quattro: classic Northern Italian, with handmade pasta and bold wines.
- Bistrot Cigalette: a French dinner experience curated by celebrity chef Thierry Blouet, one of Mexico's best-known chefs.
- Fiera San: high-end sushi and an omakase bar.
- Chacho & Los Fuegos del Sur: an Argentinian and Uruguayan grill, with a rooftop that doubles as a wedding venue.
- Kaab: breakfast and lunch inspired by the Yucatán, with international classics and live cooking stations.
- Fiera Tacos: a Mexican taquería.
- Paradiso: street food and grill at the beach club.
- Grand Café & Market: grab-and-go coffee, snacks and treats.

The bars are just as considered. Leonora's Boulevardier focuses on crafted classic cocktails, Mona Limona blends healthy island flavours with an upscale sports bar, and Saká Pool Bar serves signature tropical cocktails by the infinity pool. Grand Club guests also have their own lounge.
Agent tip: restaurants require reservations, so encourage clients to book their à la carte dinners early in their stay.
Pools, Beach, Spa and Families
Pools and beach. Multi-level freshwater pools each have their own atmosphere, from a children's play pool to an adults-only infinity pool, plus two jacuzzis and hammock areas. Down on the sand, Paradiso Beach Club offers up to 150 beach beds and loungers with unlimited premium drinks and cocktails.
Ritua Sanctuary Spa. The spa is built around circadian rhythms, designed to help guests reset their natural balance. Facilities include 10 single and 5 double treatment cabins, vitality and sensorial pools, a lap pool, private jacuzzis, an ancestral steam bath, salt and cold cabins, a yoga cabin, hydrotherapy and an outdoor garden and patio. A 24-hour fitness centre rounds out the wellness offering.
Families. The Grand Hyatt Kids Club provides fully supervised, all-inclusive entertainment for younger guests. Cribs, high chairs and kids' menus are available, and connecting rooms and suites make multi-generational trips easy to arrange.

Groups, Meetings and Weddings
For incentive and corporate groups, the resort offers more than 30,000 sq. ft. of flexible event space, all on a single level. The Great Ballroom covers about 11,460 sq. ft. with 23-ft ceilings and rigging points, and seats up to 792 for a banquet or 1,066 theatre-style. It divides into eight sections, and two breakout rooms, a boardroom and a bridal suite complete the floor. All-inclusive catering, coffee breaks and group dining can be customized.
Destination weddings have two standout settings:
- Chacho Rooftop: about 3,400 sq. ft. with sweeping ocean views, ideal for sunset ceremonies and receptions.
- The beach: about 8,450 sq. ft. of white sand right on the Caribbean.
Room blocks help keep wedding guests together, and the Great Ballroom offers an indoor alternative for larger celebrations.
