​​The Hotel Maison Colbert Meliá Collection has been named one of the best luxury hotels in Europe. In the latest edition of the prestigious World Luxury Hotel Awards, which aim to recognise the best luxury hotel experiences worldwide, Maison Colbert was named Best Art Boutique Hotel in Europe.

Located in the heart of Paris, just a few steps from Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Left Bank of the Seine, Maison Colbert is located in the heart of the Latin Quarter. The building was built in the 16th century and has been declared a historic monument due to the fact that it was also the former residence of the famous author Simone de Beauvoir. Recognition of the Meliá Hotels International commitment to luxury

The company's focus on luxury and sustainability in Tanzania was highlighted with the award for Best Luxury Business Hotel in Tanzania for the Gran Meliá Arusha, Best All-Inclusive Resort in East Africa for the Melia Zanzibar, and Best Luxury Bush Lodge in East Africa for the Serengeti Lodge Hotel.

In Asia, the Meliá Chiang Mai in Thailand was named the Best New Luxury Hotel in Asia and also received the award for Best General Manager in Southeast Asia. Meliá Ho Tram Beach Resort and Meliá Hanoi in Vietnam were named Best Luxury Coastal Hotel and Best Luxury City Hotel in Vietnam, respectively.​
