Last month we celebrated a very special milestone: Arona Gran Hotel turned 35 years old, continuing to be a benchmark in southern Tenerife. Three and a half decades offering excellence, quality and a form of tourism that puts people at the centre. This anniversary not only pays tribute to our history, but also to the daily commitment of every professional who has made this journey possible.

This anniversary wouldn’t be possible without the people who have filled these walls with life, year after year: our guests. Pauline has been visiting us for two decades, and for the past ten years, this hotel has been her place of rest, where she even celebrated her 80th birthday, surrounded by family and the warmth of our team. Margaret and Robin, with 45 stays, watched the hotel being built from the ground up, and have formed lifelong friendships here. Their “Tenerife10” crew reunites every September, like a sacred tradition. Lesley, meanwhile, found not just sunshine and relaxation, but flexibility, care, and heartfelt details, like being able to say goodbye to her Queen, from afar, but not alone.
