Spring Hotels
The company has been strengthening actions to move towards a more respectful and sustainable tourism model

Spring Hotels believes that sustainability is not just a goal, but a shared responsibility. For several years now, the company has been strengthening actions to move towards a more respectful and sustainable tourism model.

In line with this, the hotel chain has created Spring Ozone, a brand that brings together Spring Hotels' sustainability initiatives, with the aim of giving visibility and consistency to everything they do to care for the environment.

Among these initiatives are the introduction of sustainable amenities such as water dispensers that encourage responsible hydration and reduce plastic consumption, as well as the implementation of sun protection guidelines adapted to the conditions of southern Tenerife, always prioritising the care and well-being of the guests and the oceans.

Spring Hotels is also part of “El primer viaje” (The First Journey), a pioneering project for the protection of the Cory's shearwater, a seabird abundant in the Canary Islands, with which the company is tackling one of the great challenges facing the tourism sector: the conservation of biodiversity. The months of October and November are key to its conservation.

In addition to these actions, Spring Hotels has launched two podcasts on sustainability, available to the guests through the group's app, which seek to convey the importance of caring for our environment in a simple and accessible way.

Thanks to this collective effort, Arona Gran Hotel, Hotel Bitácora and Hotel Vulcano have received Travelife’s Gold Certificate for Accommodation Sustainability, successfully meeting its rigorous standards, which includes up to 220 detailed criteria on sustainability, also recognised by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council.

Spring Hotels keeps moving forward!
